She wants us to choose 3 out of these:

1.If y varies directly as x and if y=4 when x=5, find the
a:equation connecting x and y.
b: value of y when x=10.

2.If m is directly proportional to l and m=7 when l=3,find the
a:relation between m and l.
b:value of l when m =12

3.if a proportional to b and a = 6 when b=9,find b when a =15.

4. F is directly proportional to the square of x.given that f=32 when x=2.
a:find the value of k.
b:write an equation involviing f and k.

5.if x varies directly with the cube root of v.and if x=4 when v=64.find the value of a:x when v is 125, b: v when x=2

6.if n is directly proportionate to m2 and the difference in the values of n when m is 2 and m is 5 is 42,find the value of n when m=-1.

7.three men took 5 days to make 5 cars. how many days will five men take to make 5 cars?

8. 8 men took 24days to build a 4 kn road. how long would it take for 16 men to build a 24km road.?

9. it take 8 workers 15 days to complete a job. if the job has to be completed in 10 days,how many more workers are needed?
